Hi, I’m Andy (he/him), a fully accredited, caring, upbeat, and inclusive Solution-Focused Hypnotherapist near Bicester, Oxfordshire.
HeadFirst Hypnotherapy is a Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy practice based near Bicester in Oxfordshire, offering in-person and online sessions for adults and young people aged 16+. I work in a calm, ethical, and evidence-informed way, supporting emotional wellbeing, confidence, stress, and related concerns.
I support people like you to feel more at ease in your own mind, strengthen emotional wellbeing, and loosen unhelpful thinking patterns that can get in the way. Together, we explore practical ways to respond to emotions more confidently and develop habits, mindset, and resilience that support a more balanced and fulfilling life — whatever that means for you.
In a nutshell, I help you stop getting stuck in your own head — because, let’s face it, many of us do. My style is warm, encouraging, and professional… and yes, therapy can still feel human, engaging, and even a little bit enjoyable.
I’m especially passionate about supporting small business owners and entrepreneurs, the LGBTQIA+ community, men’s mental and psychosexual health and emergency services workers.
I trained at the Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training School (CPHT), a recognised Centre of Excellence in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy. I hold both the Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH) and the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD).
I believe therapy should be positive and empowering. My aim is to help you discover practical steps and meaningful change — in a way that feels achievable and motivating.
I’m registered with the CNHC, AfSFH and NCH, follow a strict ethical code, and undertake regular supervision and CPD. I’m Enhanced DBS checked and fully insured.
